Sharing a cup o’ kindness

It seems apt for me to share a message just after Burns’ Night celebrating the warmth, talent and brilliance of our customers and partners.

While we remain in lockdown across the UK, and challenges continue to face us both personally and professionally, I continue to be energised by the supportive nature of our sector.

No matter how hard the situation has been over the past 12 months, our customers and their teams have been dedicated to doing an excellent job and keeping the supply chain going throughout. And that steadfast commitment has continued into 2021.

At the same time, we’ve seen some real positivity from our customers in a recent survey we carried out, which is a credit to their ongoing resilience and strength.

As a natural optimist myself, I am always buoyed by those who can weather a storm with good humour and a smile! Happily, there are many more of those people than the headlines might lead us to believe.

Last year, as the importance of the logistics industry was brought to the fore, drivers, operators, and fleet managers earned some long overdue and very well-deserved respect from the wider public. I sincerely hope that recognition continues long after restrictions have been lifted.

For now, on behalf of all of us at Asset Alliance Group, I would just like to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredibly hard work that continues to go on 24/7, and now in all weathers!

Our customers have our greatest respect, and our commitment in return is to continue to provide the most friendly and effective support, as well as the most flexible finance packages, at a time when we know that is needed the most.

And while we can’t share a Burns Supper tonight, we are all very much looking forward to the time when we can get together again for a coffee… or more likely something much stronger!
