Survey 2021: Optimism for the Year Ahead

Asset Alliance Group customers are positive about business recovery in 2021, according to the results of a recent survey.

More than a fifth (23%) of respondents said they expect to see a ‘significant’ year-on-year improvement in business, while a third (35%) expect ‘slightly better’ results.

Almost 42% expect to add trucks to their fleets in 2021, while more than 50% are planning truck replacements based on a mix of new and used purchases and rental, leasing or contract hire.

More than a third (35%) believe the sharpest recovery will come in Q2 in 2021, while 30% believe Q3 will be the most fruitful time. Just 14% believe it will take until 2022 for business to recover.

The results were gathered from a fundraising survey held in aid of Fare Share which saw a total £1,130 donated by the business.

A donation of £10 was made on behalf of each respondent and one customer picked at random won an additional £1,000 for a charity of their choice, with those funds being donated to mental health charity If U Care Share.
