Two Minutes With… Louise Murphy

Describe your remit and responsibilities as Contract Management Supervisor?

I work in the Contract Management department. We engage with customers for the raising, sending and receiving of contracts. We ensure that deals have all the correct details and documents, with any required updates in place before activation and billing, liaising closely with Rental, business development managers, Credit & Risk, Finance, Procurement, Fleet Maintenance and Residual Risk Management.

What do you enjoy most about working for Asset Alliance Group?

There are lots of reasons. Asset Alliance Group values its staff members and recognises the hard work each team puts into the business. They are constantly looking at ways to evolve and improve our work environment and culture to ensure staff feel supported and happy in their roles. It’s great; I have never worked for a company like it.

What’s the best thing about your team/department?

Our jobs can get extremely busy. No day is the same, so it keeps us on our toes. But our team is like a little family, we all have a great sense of pride in our department. We always support each other and truly work as a team.

Can you offer an example of the positive company culture at AAG and supportive management?

We have an Employee Champions forum which enables staff to put their thoughts and ideas forward to senior management. The managers are very understanding of personal circumstances and will always support staff to the best of their abilities.

Who or what inspires you in your day to day work?

To do the best I can and know I’m pulling my weight, as well as having a positive impact on my department and the wider business.

Describe yourself in five words?

Positive, unique, reliable, supportive, efficient.

Who is your role model or hero outside work, and why?

Sounds cheesy, but my mum is both my hero and role model.

Describe your perfect day off, what do you like to do?

It would go one of two ways, either out and about doing something fun with friends and family or chilling out with a book and a movie.
