Two Minutes With… Jordana O’Reilly, Head of Brand

Describe your remit and responsibilities?

I have various responsibilities and I’m constantly juggling projects. These include developing and implementing our brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with the overall business objectives. I also oversee the development and execution of all brand marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, events, social media, and content marketing. My job involves collaborating with our internal stakeholders, such as product and sales teams, to ensure our brand messaging is consistent across all touchpoints. I also work with external agencies and vendors to create and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement and conversions.

What do you enjoy most about working for Asset Alliance Group?

With so much going on in our business, I enjoy that no two days are the same and that I’m involved in lots of initiatives. One moment I might be assessing the analytical, the next looking at creative campaigns. What’s also great is that I get to work with all divisional areas within AAG whilst being heavily involved in the evolution of our business culture and the brand. As we are a company with big ambitions, there are always plenty of things to do and projects to advance, which keeps the job interesting and fun.

What’s the best thing about your team/department?

We have a very supportive marketing team in which collaboration is key – everyone is willing to help each other to achieve the best results possible. I’m lucky to work with a group of people who are very open-minded. We all feel comfortable challenging each other. That’s really important in our marketing team and helps to foster creativity and maintain high standards.

Can you offer an example of the positive company culture at AAG and supportive management?

I joined the business six years ago as a Marketing Executive after finishing my degree at the University of Reading. AAG has been very supportive in developing me professionally, including my Diploma in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, where I have since achieved Chartered Marketer status. The business has helped me to grow and given me the experience and development opportunities to thrive. Now as Head of Brand, I have strategic input and manage a small team. I’m very grateful to the senior management in the business for their incredible support over the years.

Who or what inspires you in your day to day work?

The team of people who work for AAG are just the best, they’re so passionate about the industry and what we do. It is such an inspiring business environment to be in as we strive for continuous improvement and a best-in-class service for clients.

Describe yourself in five words?

Driven, curious, honest, proactive, positive.

Who is your role model or hero outside work, and why?

It would be my mum. She has worked so hard in her own career to ensure that I have as many opportunities available to me as possible. She essentially left school with very few qualifications and through her own dedication has had a very successful career in HR. She has strongly influenced my work ethic and inspires me every day.

Describe your perfect day off, what do you like to do?

I love to travel, so if I’m not going abroad somewhere then a daytrip to the beach with my dog Hachi, followed by a nice meal and a glass or two of rosé would be perfect.
