Describe your remit and responsibilities as Credit Control Team Leader?

My role involves overseeing the account receivable ledger to make sure invoices are paid in a timely manner. This includes producing debt reports to ensure payments are received efficiently and promptly.

What do you enjoy most about working for Asset Alliance Group?

Working for a company which is invested in the welfare of its staff and is always looking for ways to improve our wellbeing in the workplace. I enjoy being part of a business whose values are respected and applied from the top. For AAG’s senior management, it is not just about promoting those values to staff but actually living up to them, too.

What’s the best thing about your team/department?

Credit control is a vital function of the business. We make a significant contribution to AAG’s overall performance, which is a rewarding aspect of the job. The best thing is the ability to combine customer service, collections and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Can you offer an example of the positive company culture at AAG and supportive management?

The way the business looks after staff members when there is sickness or ill-health. It’s great that AAG is so supportive of various charities to help colleagues and their families.

Who or what inspires you in your day-to-day work?

I’m inspired by the way staff support each other. We always try to help and mentor colleagues when the need calls for it.

Describe yourself in five words?

Reserved, tenacious, compassionate, respectful, direct.

Who is your role model or hero outside work, and why?

My parents. They always motivate and encourage me to be the best version of myself. They brought me up to be compassionate, loving and respectful. All my values are from them.

Describe your perfect day off, what do you like to do?

I’d be staying in bed with a glass of champagne watching my favourite TV shows. My children would be at school and husband at work, so no one to bother me. Just perfect!
