Glasgow Brickyard has leased a new 26-tonne flatbed Mercedes-Benz Arocs 5 from its preferred supplier Asset Alliance Group as part of a five-year deal.
The new truck, which is equipped with an Atlas A135.A11 Crane and Kinshoffer KM331 Grab, will be in operation five days a week distributing brick works to commercial and domestic customers across the whole of Scotland.
Glasgow Brickyard’s Managing Director, Ken Kelly, said he has been continuously impressed by Asset Alliance Group’s honest approach to business.
He says: “When the contract on our previous vehicle was coming to an end, it was a no brainer for us to stick with Asset Alliance Group. Throughout the five years we’ve worked with them we’ve had no issues and they have always been on hand to provide us with the support and guidance we need. The quality of service really is second to none.”
He adds: “We knew that we wanted the same spec as our previous vehicle and Asset Alliance Group were able to offer us just that, and at a competitive price. Many of our customers are specialised private individuals so space can sometimes be a problem when making deliveries, which is why we need to be specific with our spec.”
Glasgow Brickyard is one of Glasgow and West Scotland’s leading brick distributors with one of the largest brick showrooms in the UK, stocking more than 300 masonry products from leading manufacturers.
