We’ve kicked off our fundraising efforts this year with an impressive £9,500 already raised for our chosen charities

Our charitable escapades this year have seen team members go the extra mile on their feet and wheels to raise as much money as possible for our corporate charities, the STV Children’s Appeal and Social Eyes, a community charity for adults with autism and moderate learning disabilities.

A hardy group of 21 staff, friends and family, took part in our third consecutive Kiltwalk from Glasgow to Edinburgh, while a separate team joined this year’s Velo Birmingham & Midlands, a tough 100-mile cycle.

We raised an additional £350 for Comic Relief by wearing red to work, and a variety of raffles, including an auction of our own staff, has helped our total to date reach £9,500.

We have also donated more than 90 kilos to local food banks.

There’s still much more to come with our annual Golf Days and our Christmas raffle in December, which is always well supported with prizes from our partners and suppliers.
