Describe your responsibilities as Fleet Systems & Reporting Manager
My role at Asset Alliance Group (AAG) sees me assist with the systems and processes that support the Fleet Department, including the production of monthly reports that track fleet performance against agreed KPIs. A significant part of my role currently involves working on and developing the fleet side of Salesforce. I also lead the team responsible for managing in-life, end-of-lease recharges and Penalty Charge Notices.
What do you enjoy most about working for AAG?
The people! There’s a real sense of family across the business and I genuinely feel supported in whatever I am trying to do. There’s a willingness to help each other out, regardless of department or role, which makes a big difference day-to-day. I also enjoy the pace of the business. My role is really varied and lets me communicate with different areas, so there’s always something new to look at or solve.
What’s the best thing about your department?
Everyone’s willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, especially when things get busy. The departments all help each other when needed and help me with the many Salesforce requests I receive. I have a team that has great spirit, and I can trust which makes my job so much easier.
Can you offer an example of AAG’s positive company culture?
A really good example is the focus on wellbeing and employee engagement across the business; events such as the annual conference really demonstrates this, too. There’s a clear effort to create a positive working environment where people are treated as individuals and supported both professionally and personally.
What has been your biggest personal achievement in your role?
My career progression over the last 12 years is probably my biggest personal achievement. I started as an apprentice and have worked my way up to leading my own team and implementing new systems across the department. It’s been a huge learning journey, and something I’m really proud of.
Describe yourself in three words
Driven, supportive, positive.
Who or what inspires you in your day-to-day work?
I’m motivated by progress, whether that’s improving a process, learning something new, or seeing the impact of work across the wider business. My team drive me to keep improving and making things better for them. I get bored easily so always need something to work towards!
Describe your perfect day off, what do you like to do?
My idea of a perfect day off is getting out and doing something fun. I’m not one for sitting still… so if there’s nothing planned, I’ll find something! I like having something to look forward to and making the most of the day. Then it’s about chilling out with good food, good company, and just enough downtime to convince myself I’ve rested.
Is there a new initiative or offer in your part of the business that you’re excited about?
The new Salesforce system is something I’m really excited about. It’s a big focus for the Fleet Department and has the potential to streamline processes. It should help us work more efficiently by automating some of the more time-consuming tasks, allowing us to focus on adding value and improving how we operate. Being closely involved in shaping and developing it has been a great opportunity.
